On Jung and Lévi-Strauss unconscious: A brief comparison

Retracing the main common aspects between the anthropological thought and the psychoanalytic one, in this paper we will further discuss about the main common points between the notions of unconscious according to Carl Gustav Jung and Claude Lévi-Strauss, taking into account the Erich Neumann thought. On the basis of very simple elementary logic considerations centered around the basic notion of separation of opposites, what will be said might turn out to be useful for some speculations upon possible origins of the rational thought, hence for the origins of consciousness.

In questo saggio, mi ‘lascio andare’, volutamente e direttamente, nel loro intreccio d’insieme e interrelato, alle seguenti questioni: la semantica della rabbia in un contesto vissuto personalmente, l’uso di una scrittura meno convenzionale ai fini di un maggior scavo interiore, l’esemplificazione letteraria come contrappunto e verifica tematica ed esistenziale, la possibilità di descrizione del tempo e dello spazio nell’arco stesso della prossimità del vissuto, il contrasto tra ‘forme di vita concepite per fini da raggiungere’ e ‘forme di vita concepite nella liminalità’, la riflessione sull’oscillazione autoriale di un Lévi-Strauss preso tra strutturalismo e soggettivismo, la riformulazio…
